I have read and heard from several parolees and probationers, that they always drank a bunch of water with a couple tablespoons of baking soda, and were successful on multiple occasions. I have been trying to think of how that would work. The only thing I can think of is that they diluted their urine of the drug being tested, but the amount of sodium ingested kept the test from showing it was diluted. Could there be a better explanation?

I think that you will pass but drinking too much water may have produced a diluted sample. If they indicate your sample was diluted ask to be retested and do not drink more than 24 ounces of water on test day and do not drink a lot of water the day before you are to be tested. You need to stop smoking immediately. Since you have been a heavy smoker for 11 years you have a high toxin build up. I don’t think if 16-19 days (until the test) will be enough time for you to detox on your own without any supplements but keep to a regular workout schedule and drinking a lot of water. Its really hard to say how long it may take for you to be clean after your usage history.
