You’ll be clean for saliva drug test in a 3 days
You’ll pass a blood drug test in a 4-5 days
For urine drug test you’ll be clean in a week or week and a half (depends on metabolism)
Nail test will show positive results for a nearly half a year
As for the hair test: toxins can’t be washed out of your hair so they can be detected in a two-three year (body hair) or half a year (head hair if it’s shorter than 2 inches).

I stopped smoking August 22nd, 2011 (I used to smoke every day) and haven’t smoked since then….Today is Nov. 11th, 2011. I have to test for my P.O. on the 18th of Nov….I have a belly, average build, eat lots of fruits and veggies as well…But I don’t exercise much….Do you think marijuana may still be detected or no??

Test that can be dangerous for you it’s hair test in case if your hair is longer then 4 inches (hair grows for an inch every two month, so if your hair is shorter then 4 inches you’ve already cut the dirty part).
Each other tests (even nail) will show that you’re clean.
With your hair – they need sample that is longer then two inches so you can just cut your hair a little.
But! Be careful. Rarely, very rarely (in case if one fail first test or shave his/her head) they can take a body hair, where THC stored for a couple of years
I smoked weed 2 months prior to having to take a random pee test. They said i failed and had a high quanity show up. I dont understand i had been taking alot of vitamins and drinkin alot of green tea. I research that sometime high quanitys of ibuproffin can give a false negative. I have been taking 1600 mgs of ibuproffen daily do to recently having surgery. Is it possible the test is wrong???? I cant see how i failed with high THC readings………

Yes, ibuprofen is the cause. Tell them about ibuprofen and ask for a lab test – it’ll show the mistake and that you’re clean.

I believe it was like 40 $ worth spead out in a weeks time. a bowl a day. and i am over wieght 230lbs 5’7″. I asked for the lab tests and hopefully get it with in the next day. I wanted to dispute it cause i lost my job but not sure its worth all the stress and money im going to have to put into it. I worked in transportation for 6yr and never had a issue with testing. Urine test can show the traces of THC up to 3 month and it seems it’s your case. You know, THC accumulates in fat cells so the less of fat cells you have the shortet is detection time.
So maybe ibuprofen saves you from traces of THC that still present in your body.
Let’s do that: in the test day morning (in 3-4 hours before test) eat a good meal like hamburgers or eggs with bacon to prevent your fat cells from dissolving. Then drink a liter of cranberry juice and piss several times. That’s all, you’ll be as ready for drug test as you can.

For urine – from 3 days up to week
For a nail test – a month
For a hair test – it’s hard to say, because, technically speaking, toxins stays in your hair forever until you’ll cut the dirty part. Hair grows in an inch every two month so to calculate the term – just measure your hair length in inches and multiply by two. That will be the amount of month you’ve to stay clean to pass a hair drug test

I took a urine test for my probation that also test for alcohol. I had drank the night before & expected to fail but I have not heard back from them in 2 weeks. I picked up smoking Al Capone cognac dipped cigars(since I quit the good Herb). Thy’re a nice smoke but as I stated in my previous question I have to take Urine test for Alcohol & Drugs. Would Capones show up as alcohol in my system? Also I saw something on the net that they contain Oxycontin, is this true….AND I googled the ingredients and got nothings?? What gives with Al Capones??

Don’t worry about Al Capones, amount of cognac in one cigar is too low to be shown on tests. Also about Oxycontin – it’s a trademark of opiate-based painkiller. One shouldn’t mix tobacco with oxycodone (Oxycontin active substance) – it can cause suffocation. But be sure – there is no cigars with Oxycontin in this planet

Hello, I have a urine screen monday Dec 19th. I havent smoked since dec 8th. Before that was like 1 bedtime bowl (.3) from nov 16th. I run about 12-15miles a week and drink alot of water and eat a high fiber diet while taking Bcomplex, cran pills, and green tea extract along with flax. Since dec 8ths ive run 18 miles and increased water and creatine suppliment and a beta alanine. Im 6’1 202lbs atheltic build. How are my chances for Dec 19th? I will run another 3 miles friday and then over the weekend eat a high fat diet while continuing to drink 2 gallons of water.This is for a 100k a year job so its very important

Wow! I ca’t even say anythins for sure cause it’s first time I’m facing such case.
As I can see, you have a great chances to pass your test without any additional measures.
At first I recommend to check yourself. Buy a home drug test strip (like this one – http://mbdetox.com/THC-Marijuana-Cannabis-Dip-Strip-Drug-Urine-Test_p95/, it selling in every drugstore ) and check your first morning piss. If you will not drink anything in an hour or two before sleep it’ll be better.
First morning urine is more concentrate so home test results will be close to lab test results. If you’ll pass strip test – you’ll pass a lab test. Otherwise – stop your training in a day defore drug test (THS is stored in a fat cells, during training those cels are dissolving , freeing THC’), in a two three hours before test drink a liter of cranberry juice and piss several times. On Monday Dec. 12, I got a call for an interview. I am a daily smoker. I smoked some strong stuff Mon-Wed, several times a day. On Wed. around 4:00 pm I got the offer contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen today Friday Dec. 16. at 3:30 pm I only had approximately 36 hours to detox . I’m 5′ 3″ 115lbs. female mid 30′s, super fast metabolism. I started drinking Cranberry and Pomegranate juice and tons of water on Wed. I bought 2 First Check OTC THC tests at CVS on Thursday and bought some ProTox Advance formula with the Jumpstart pills at the local headshop. Thursday night before taking the Jumpstart pills I used an OTC test and obviously failed. I then took the pills and followed instructions. Today (test day) I ate nothing but oatmeal, drank water, green tea. Took the ProTox and waited 1.5 hrs to take the 2nd OTC test, the line was faint but there. I was confident and went to the lab took the test and failed. Now I have to wait for further testing. I wrote on the paperwork that I was taking a multi-vitamin and Ibuprofen. I don’t know what the further test will say. Anyone had this experience? What is expected in the further testing? Is there hope for a false positive?

Hey… I know this has often been repeated but I have to ask. I had a drug test this past Monday (9/17) for a metro bus operating job here in California. Mind you I do not consider myself a heavy pot user because I did not begin smoking until around April or May 2012. I would smoke mainly on fridays on my free time. No joints, just out of a pipe… 2 hits tops. Between April/May till July 12th, 2012 (the last time I smoked at all) I believe I may have smoked a total of 10-12 times again only 2 hits at a time in my sessions. Long story short I have been 66 days free of doing anything soley because I lost interest and marijuana was never my thing to being with… not sure why I even picked up the habit. Also during this period I was going to the gym 3-4 times a week however I am currently 279lbs. What is the likely-hood that I will have passed my urine test for pre-employment being clean for 66 days? I know I’ll find out in a couple more days but I just don’t have the peace of mind.

You have been clean for over 2 months.and in most cases that would be good enough to get rid of the THC but your weight may be a contributing factor in the THC staying in your system longer. Working out may have saved you. For peace of mind why don’t you go to your local pharmacy and get a home test strip and test your first urination of the day. This will answer your question.
